The main tasks of the Association:

– Protection of the rights and representation of the lawful interests of Association members within its competence before Turkmen and foreign government bodies and other organizations, institutions, and associations;

– Performing the functions of a guarantee organization as provided by the Customs Convention on the International Transport of Goods under cover of TIR carnets;

– Participation in the activities of the International Road Transport Union, and representation and protection of the interests of Association members in this organization;

– Interaction with government bodies and other organizations on issues related to the formation of transport policy, regulation of the international transport services market, ensuring conditions for fair competition among international road carriers, improving the legal framework and mechanisms for its implementation;

– Providing legal and other assistance to Association members, offering informational, consultative, and other services;

– Organizing professional training and retraining of specialists from enterprises engaged in the international road transport of goods and passengers, freight forwarding, and other services.
